Mary Kay Cosmetics for the 12 Seasons

As a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, one of the first things I did when I became a color analyst was sort all the Mary Kay makeup into the 4 seasons back in the ’90’s. Fast forward to present day, and I have done the same for the 12 seasons.

It has been on my mind for the last few months to post my lists here on my website for those who are interested in these products, whether you are a Mary Kay Consultant or a customer.

There are some colors that are exclusive to a particular season. And there are some that can effectively worn by more than one season, especially the neighboring ones. Since everyone’s skin, hair, and eye colors are different, the same makeup colors worn on two people of the same season may look very different.

Also, because we are all unique within our season, there may be some colors listed that may not do you total justice, but another person of the same season would wear them fabulously. However, most colors should be able to be worn by everyone in that season with a good amount of success. Sometimes it’s only a matter of personal preference. Some women love to wear their colors to their fullest, while others prefer a softer, natural look. There are colors for those women and everyone in between.

The beauty of Mary Kay is that they have SAMPLES of all of their glamour colors (except brow liners). The try-before-you-buy concept is great. They have samples for skin care, foundations, powders, concealers, highlighters, bronzers, etc. Most Mary Kay consultants will have samples on hand and would be happy to assist you.

I haven’t yet determined how often I will post the colors or in what format. But I will be doing so shortly. Please check back here from time to time. If you have questions or requests, feel free to email me or leave a comment on this page. I would love to hear from you!

Colorfully yours,

Terry
